If an Emperor is the head of a political entity which has people or territories under his authority, then without doubt, Asiwaju is. It is important at this forum to notice that a leader or a king, whichever suits ur reference object, most often than not emerge in 2 ways. Its either they are crowned by the authority or by the people. So I ask, who crowned Bola Tinubu an Emperor? Is it the authority in Nigeria which in itself lacks absolute sovereign powers as it came in through a manipulated electoral process or the people in the south western region? I know well that the former dread him like fire and the later drink him like a cool spring water. Are the people of south western Nigeria not the most politically sophisticated people in the country? Is this region not the most interlectually updated? Why have they chosen to crown Tinubu their Emperor? How has this emperor become from a region that has produced an ex-head of state and president as well as a chiarman of an interim government? Where were the self acclaimed political stalwarts when the people crowned this worthy emperor. This emperor is better followed and respected in the south west than even the president in his native south south region.
