    Dear @Rooseveltfranklindel, I seriously hope you are joking? Most Nigerians feel the way you feel but that doesn't make us alien in our motherland. You and I are going to make this country work together. 

    For what its worth, section 29 of the 1999 constitution is clear on renunciation of citizenship, renunciation must be made in a prescribed manner and it is still subject to the discretion of the president whether he will allow you to renounce yourself as a citizen or not. In short, you remain a Nigeria as long as GEJ says so. Welcome to Nigeria.
